How It Works
Built to produce the documentation an audit demands, without adding extra steps to your calendar.

Send us your asset list – even a rough one. We size the job and send a valuation window within two business days.

Our team collects on-site with sealed vehicles, GPS tracking, and a photographed chain of custody, start to finish.

Every asset gets a serial-level receipt, NIST 800-88 sanitization, and refurbishment or certified destruction – all logged.

Settlement arrives with an audit-ready close-out packet: destruction certificates and downstream disposition, included.
Minnesota Computers is an R2v3-certified ITAD firm built around capital recovery, not disposal. One facility. One accountable team. One serialized record from pickup to settlement.

The serialized reporting cleared our internal audit on the first pass. Minnesota Computers is the only ITAD vendor we've worked with that treats compliance as the deliverable, not an afterthought.

We ran the buyback quote against three other providers. MNC's valuation on our decommissioned server fleet was 22 percent higher, and settlement was faster than anyone else quoted.

Multi-site pickup across four properties in ten days. No damaged assets, complete chain of custody, and a downstream disposition report the environmental committee actually reads.

Every drive from our data center refresh was wiped to NIST 800-88 spec and logged by serial. The recovered value hit our budget the same quarter, and our auditors cleared the paperwork on the first pass.

A snapshot of recent programs. Full case studies available on request under NDA.

Coordinated retirement of three regional data centers across seven weeks. Serialized destruction on 4,200+ drives with a consolidated audit packet.

R2v3 certification means the facility itself has passed audit by an ANAB-accredited certification body (in our case, Perry Johnson Registrars, certificate #C2024-02432). “R2 partnered” or “R2 affiliated” language typically means the vendor uses a certified downstream partner but is not certified themselves, which does not provide the same audit assurance. Ask for the certificate number and cross-check on the R2 registry.
Every drive is processed to NIST 800-88 standards and logged by serial number. You receive a certificate of destruction tied to each serialized asset, so the audit trail matches your asset register line for line.
Assets with no resale value are sent to R2v3-certified downstream processors for responsible material recovery. You receive downstream documentation showing exactly where each stream went.
Custody is recorded from pickup through settlement: sealed transport, serialized intake, processing logs, and a consolidated audit packet your compliance team can hand directly to an auditor.
Yes. We coordinate scheduled, multi-site pickups across our 17-state network with a single point of contact and one consolidated report covering every location.
