What's Included
Minnesota Computers provides a prepaid shipping label and packaging instructions tailored to your equipment. There's no minimum shipment size and no onsite visit required. Every package is logged upon arrival at our R2v3-certified facility in Eagan, MN, and processed using NIST 800-88 data sanitization standards.
Your chain of custody begins the moment the carrier scans your shipment, providing tracking and accountability from drop-off through final processing.

Who This Is For
Minnesota Computers supports organizations with smaller IT asset volumes, remote locations, or distributed teams that don't require a scheduled onsite pickup. If your retired equipment can be safely packed and shipped, our Ship-to-Us Program provides a fast and secure solution.
For larger asset volumes, office cleanouts, or data center projects, our scheduled pickup service is typically the better option.

Tell us what you're shipping, including whether any batteries are damaged, and we'll send a prepaid label along with packaging guidance matched to your equipment.
02Pack & Ship
Follow the packaging guidelines for your equipment type and drop the package at any carrier location.
03Inventory & Secure Processing
Once your shipment arrives at our Eagan facility, every device is logged against your submitted equipment list. Data-bearing devices are sanitized following NIST SP 800-88 guidelines, then routed to resale evaluation or certified recycling.
04Documentation & Completion
You receive serialized Certificates of Destruction and processing confirmation once everything is complete.

No, drives can ship installed in the device; removal isn't required for standard sanitization.
Yes, as long as everything is included in your submitted equipment list so serial numbers match on arrival.
